Supercritical Water Reaction System

Model: SFS-WS

The proposed SFS-WS is a continuous-flow laboratory platform for selected hydrothermal and supercritical-water reaction studies. Independent water and feed delivery, a preheater, a mixing section and a tubular reaction zone are integrated with cooling, pressure control and product separation. The base design is intended for pumpable, low-solids liquid feeds. Oxidation, high-solids slurry processing and high-temperature gasification require dedicated packages and are not implied by the model name.

FLOSN / PRODUCT FEATURES

Product Features

6 FEATURES

Water and feed pumps with pulsation management; water preheater; replaceable high-pressure mixer; heated tubular reactor cartridge; inlet/outlet temperature and pressure measurement; differential-pressure monitoring; cooling heat exchanger; cooled backpressure regulator; gas–liquid separator and closed collection; flush/bypass interfaces; PLC/HMI; insulated process guard and a separate cool pump compartment.

Separate Feed Streams

Independent water and reagent channels permit feed-ratio studies while keeping incompatible premixing out of the base arrangement.

Defined Reaction Zone

A replaceable tubular cartridge defines nominal hot volume; mixer and connecting volumes are recorded separately.

Measured Mixed-Stream Temperature

A downstream sensor is proposed to verify the reaction inlet rather than equating it with the preheater setpoint.

Cooling Before Pressure Regulation

The downstream train cools the effluent before the selected backpressure regulator; its temperature limit is interlocked.

Plugging and Corrosion Management

Differential-pressure monitoring and serviceable sections support detection and maintenance; feed chemistry still governs alloy and cleaning choices.

Conditional Expansion Packages

Slurry feed, oxidant addition and higher-temperature gasification need separate engineering and qualification.
